I. Policy Purpose
To ensure that the supply chain complies with international human rights and sustainable development standards, the company promises not to purchase minerals (including tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold, cobalt and mica) from conflict areas or involved in human rights violations and environmental damage, and to prevent indirect funding of armed conflicts or illegal activities
Ⅱ. Core Principles
Prohibition of conflict minerals
Do not purchase minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its neighboring conflict countries, or raw materials that are controlled by non-governmental armed forces or illegally mined
Supply chain transparency
Suppliers are required to provide proof of origin of minerals, and give priority to smelters certified by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) or the China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals and Chemicals Importers and Exporters (CCCMC)
Follow the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Mineral Supply Chains in Conflict-Affected Areas and the China Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Mineral Supply Chains
Human Rights and Environmental Protection
Prohibit the use of minerals involving child labor, forced labor or environmental damage (such as illegal mining), and support low-carbon sustainable mining technologies
III. Implementation measures
Supplier management
Sign compliance agreements with suppliers to clearly prohibit the use of conflict minerals
Regularly review suppliers' third-party audit reports (such as RMI's Conflict Minerals Reporting Template CMRT)
Risk control
Establish a mineral traceability system, identify suppliers in high-risk areas and implement enhanced due diligence
Terminate cooperation with suppliers who violate regulations and put them on the blacklist
IV. Public Commitment
The company discloses the progress of procurement policy implementation through its official website and annual report, and accepts supervision from stakeholders. Continuously optimize supply chain management and promote the improvement of industry responsibility standards
