What is Fiber Optic Rotary joints?

Fiber Optic Slip Ring, sometimes also called smooth ring or fiber optic rotary joint, is a device specially designed to transmit optical signals between rotating parts and fixed parts. Unlike traditional electrical slip rings, fiber optic slip rings process optical signals instead of electrical signals, which makes it particularly suitable for applications that require high-speed data transmission, high bandwidth, low loss and electromagnetic interference immunity.
